More than 400 of Asheville-Buncombe Specialized Community College‘s roughly 1,300 workforce have revealed proof of a COVID-19 vaccine to obtain the school’s latest incentive: $300 extra to their paycheck.
The incentive method went on the net Aug. 12, and A-B Tech spokeswoman Kerri Glover reported the college saw immense fascination.
“We received 75 uploads in the 1st 30 minutes after saying the incentive system,” Glover mentioned.
As of 1 p.m. Aug. 16, Glover mentioned 436 staff had uploaded evidence of their vaccination to the personnel portal. A-B Tech employs about 1,300 men and women. Glover did not have a definite number of how several workforce had obtained a shot.
“(Staff) can post evidence of vaccination to us for the incentive method, but individuals data are not kept by the college or university when verified for the incentive,” she stated.
